The new revolutionary iGC from SMS is the world’s first commercial inverse gas chromatograph. The unique SMS flow control technology * provides the state-of-the-art in humidity control together with unrivalled accuracy and reproducibility. The standard instrument configuration comes with a thermal conductivity detector (TCD) and a flame ionization detector (FID) : this combination allows differentiation between moisture and organic solvent elutants. VGI 2000M
The SMS microscope VGI is a custom-built accessory that allows the user to precisely control the temperature and humidity environment of a microscopy sample. The VGI2000M is designed for use with ultra-long working distance objectives, having working distances of 6mm or greater and using standard microscope slides as the sample mounting. For optical microscopy, the illumination techniques of transmission and reflection are supported whilst the viewing techniques of bright-field, dark-field and cross-polarised light can be applied. The VGI can also be used in conjunction with FTIR and Raman microscopes.
